On Saturday, July 7, a group of students from FOSCO International School set off on the FIS annual Overseas Summer Camp. Always expanding its overseas programs, this year will be the school’s first ever trip to the UK. The intrepid group will be spending two weeks in UK, visiting some of the major towns and attractions, and learning about the culture there.
A delegation from FIS went to see off the students from Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat airport. The group will be accompanied by Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Truc, Vice Principal, who has experience with overseas camps in the USA in previous summers. All the students were very excited about the trip. After a long flight, the students arrived in the UK on Sunday morning at their accommodation at Bedales School. They are all looking forward to an amazing program filled with memories!
The two-week program, from July 7 to July 21, will include trips to historic local towns, such as Winchester and Brighton, as well as a full day excursion in London. Students will enjoy sports, dance, drama and get a chance to expand their knowledge of academic and cultural subjects.
FOSCO International School runs Summer and Winter Overseas Trips every year. The trips are open for participation by children from outside the school, as well as our own students.
